Mucus Before The Period

11th message from Mr. Drygalski

Hello everyone, I am happy to send you this message of 10th St Jacques de Compostela 2010. I take a hotel that offers wifi in all chambres.Voici with a little delay, my impressions on the road (camino in English) in Santiago in Spain. I'm not going to make the same comments I made to France, but if you want details about my background, just go to Google and click on "St Jacques de Compostela. Or those who have not received all my messages, can let me know, I'd be happy to send them. Thank you for the hundreds of encouragement that we receive, it comforts us in our efforts to organ donation which is the goal of our journey and helps us in the (small) hard times. In a previous message, I told you that Friday, June 4, I arrived in Spain. I will not put the miles I do each day, because in the No. 9 post, I look back on until Santiago. Obviously we were delighted, happy and finally (for me) on roads that I agree. Now that I'm in Spain, I run more km than in France. Friday, June 4, St Jean Pied de Port - Roncesvalles - Burguete. I crossed the Pyrenees by road Valcarlos is longer but as hard as the Route Napoleon. Many Pilgrims in St Jacques imagine otherwise. Thursday, June 3, for my day off, ran up Orisson (Napoleon Road) and the next day by road from Valcarlos. I met the Pilgrims looked more tired than the veille.Ca rises, it goes up and up forever. By road it climbs through the woods that goes up even more fort.Quand write it up, I should write it climbs dry (except me that is all wet heat). Saturday, June 5, Burguete - Larrasoaña - Arleta (Pamplona). Since we arrived in Spain, we received lots of encouragement for our work in favor of organ donation from the platform CHU Charleroi. Spain is the first in Europe for organ donation and the English are proud and we do know. If the step was hard, I felt good, I ran like a (old) gazelle and I was comfortable in the ribs. As I wrote at the beginning, I feel good, my pain is still there, but St. Jacques as well, so I'm not afraid to force (a bit) I have many stories to tell, but the price to access the internet is very expensive (often 1 € a quarter of an hour). In smaller hotels, they have no wifi or so, access is impossible without a password. Sunday, June 6, Arleta - Pamplona - Puente la Reina. It's a very hard day (again), after crossing Pamplona, I went to the stamp (designed with the shell St Jacques) on my credencial at the University of Pamplona. I met the boss of the security of the Uni for the past 12 years is a Belgian (Brussels) who is responsible. He promised to take steps to publish an article (organ donation) in the school newspaper. At the end of Pamplona, I dropped my stick that is passed between my legs and saw that I was running with the strength of my shins (yes), it broke. I was a little upset because my stick I had already protected more than 9000 km on the road to St Jacques. I will do repair and keep as a souvenir for not changing it rains, there's a mountain to climb "Sierra del Perdon," the pilgrims who have been there know what it is, but it does bother me. Now that I've spent the coast (for the 3rd time), it's true, I was hard, luckily with age, we forget much. Now he must back down the other side and be careful not to slip because the slope is steep (like me) and the rocks are slippery as wet (yet like me), with the rain. Monday, June 7, Puente la Reina - Los Arcos. I meet on the road much of Pilgrims from different countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Korea, Canada, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Hungary, Meeting, Japan, Venezuela, Brésil.Ma health is still drinking, I do will not lie and say I'm wrong anywhere. I hurt everywhere, but that's normal, I still nearly 2000 km in my old legs. My morale is at the top and that is the principal. Nicole is fine too, even though she works a lot (yes). Tuesday, June 8, Los Arcos - Navarette. Beautiful stage, I did not know what to do during I was running on hills and down hills, I decided to run a bit my day. I enjoyed that there was a small rock piled in the dirt and that surpassed more than another, to shoot in, conclusion: a big drop, blue at the hip, one on my elbow and torn skin . On the internet, I have seen articles about my French trip to raise awareness about organ donation. I'm glad our message across in newspapers, through this, thousands of people are informed about it. Wednesday, June 9, Navarette - Santa Domingo de la Calsada. It looks like the desert Movies spaghetti the road and the scenery is simply magnificent. I run without realizing it's so beautiful but I am wrong path without realizing it also so I am con (I'm the one who just said). Now I have to turn around and look my way. I suddenly found the decor less beau.Pendant I run, Nicole is looking for a hotel or a private albergue, it also seeks a store (mercado or supermercado). Nicole is also involved (amongst other) of sweat and wet clothes that I pulled off at a bistro in Najera. After I changed, I, as usual, the boss of documents distributed (In English) about organ donation. When Nicole wanted to pay the cafes, the boss did not want and congratulated us for our efforts. I bought a new stick. Thursday, June 10, Santa Domingo de la Calsada - Villafranca Montes de Oca. This step is really beautiful, 15 km after Belorado, we enter a wood that has been pruned on the 2 sides of the dirt road (mud, raining cats and dogs). The day's stage is 24 km and ends Monastery of San Juan de Ortega. 24 km, it really is not much, so I'll continuer.Le time to change clothes and drink a coffee, I went towards Villafranca Montes Oca.Il of rain, ha ha, I love the rain when I run. Okay, it's not for gay tourists. I do not care, I am not a tourist. Mud makes me so it's rolling back, luckily I have a stick. Nicole will not be happy to see my white shoes and socks full of mud and stinking of cat pee (Walkers and runners know what taste there). To dry the shoes Nicole slips them underneath his seat and as she runs, she feels my presence because of the taste. Friday, June 11, Villafranca Montes de Oca - Burgos. When I started my stage, it was raining forever. I met with a French Cameroonians by his dad and by its French maman.Nous have marched together in the woods full of mud for several miles. Military arrived in a plain and on a road very rocky coast and strong, I let the French and I'm left all alone like a big one. With the falling rain, the rocks were very slippery. I finished the stage in the center of Burgos and Nicole waiting as much. In the car with the smell of two pairs of shoes that smell like cat pee, I thought I was messy in a cattery, I do not understand that Nicole left around shoes as dirty in the car "Nicole is a joke that I write here. Okay, next time I will follow the car off with my dirty shoes, ho la la Nicole, you know not joking. " Saturday, June 12, Burgos - Castojeriz. 38 km small step, but with the release of Burgos 4 km, I still ran a marathon. A lot of mud but the view is magnificent, I do not regret being on the road. I say and repeat, the path to Santiago is a path that is really beautiful from every point of view. It's really the way to étoiles.Tiens, I'll go beyond the French Cameroon. "Hello, are you "he replied" yes it is you and it will also I see "I replied" yes it will, but I asked him if he goes over there because I already answered. I walk around with him and I hear he runs over 40 km per day and it starts to 6hr morning. If so, I meet all jours.J have already lost weight a lot since I left, if it continues, I'll be forced to stop my diet (it's in jest). Sunday, June 13, Castojeriz - Carrion de Conde. Nothing to say for this step, we entered the English Moors. It is flat wrong or flat for more than 45 km. After the cold morning when I have to run with a jumper, the heat begins to be felt. It is impossible to tell what I see during my race, I would have for too long. I do a lot of photos that will be on my blog when we get home. Monday, June 14, Carrion de Condé - Sahagun. The sky is overcast but not my morale is very good. I meet great people who welcomed us for our action, I do catch up over the French, it must do more than I km. Sahagun is a small town very lively, especially for football. Nicole was found to accommodate us, I know we will sleep not out. Tuesday, June 15, Sahagun - Puente Villarente. Since the step before Burgos, with the French Cameroon, there were others which also makes a lot of miles and is very fast, I overtake when it accelerates and as I slowed down, we do two or three km together. With his bag of 1O kg, it can not do with me anymore. The stage presents no difficulty. Wednesday, June 16, Villarente Puente - Puente's Orbigo (Hospital of Orbigo). I'm still in the Landes, the course is supposed to be more or less flat, well no. If you follow the footsteps of St Jacques and the road is parallel to a National or else, you walk on a mountain of Russia, it goes down, it goes up and this went on for miles. I cross Leon, a beautiful city but when you walk through and running more, be careful not to get lost. Nicole is waiting for me to tip the Orbigo, she found a home and a restaurant not to starve. Here's a little story that has hurt whoever raconte.Je stop on the side of the road for a pee, I feel my left leg that tickles, I see a big creature that tries to bite me. I raise my stick pan and a good shot, as handy as I am I have not missed ... ... ... .., my tibia, the creature yes, she is gone, it is not far because I heard the giggle (yes). Conclusion: I peed on my shoes and I limped the rest of the stage. Nicole laughed like a maniac when I told him, I head for 10 '. Thursday, June 17, Hospital of Orbigo - Manjarin (Iron Cross). Les Landes is finished Rebelote for long coastline but with a beautiful setting (I have pictures). I'm always competing with the French works of 50 km per day. I do the same but has a dozen km ahead of me. Nicole met him and informed him that I'm just behind and I finished my stage, so he made more km to catch up than I pas.Vu I'm not on the way to the competition but for the donation of organs, which is more important than competition, I even try to catch him. There is only one side to reach Manjarin, but it makes km.J 'for the 4th time I mounted the pile of stones that pilgrims have filed (for over 1000 years) at the foot of the cross. And for the 4th time, I made a picture of me. Friday, June 18, Manjarin - Villafranca del Bierzo. The km of the climb yesterday, I go down this morning, Quick and with tendinitis in the left foot is sore. In the mountains it's cold but the sun there. Saturday, June 19, Villafranca Bierso - Fonfria. I went to Fonfria with tendinitis. To not go around the mountain and win 2 miles, I decided to cross the mountain through a tunnel of 450 m for vehicles only. Good for the future. After the tunnel and at the intersection of the road where I had normally happen if I did not borrow this tunnel, I heard screaming "Michael ... Michael, I see a cyclist Locust (recognizable with their huge bags ). The time to understand that it is my has, he shouted "Michel Drygalski. While there, screaming my name that he knows me. Well yes, that's my boyfriend, Henry Eloy, Pilgrim and neighbor at the same time, it was even when we left at Charleroi. Normally he would leave later but to be sure I catch him, he left earlier. I was glad to see him too and he said "I was sure to see you on the way, I do not know when but I was certain." On the road to St Jacques, there is always something happening. If I had not crossed the tunnel or if Henry had left 10 seconds earlier he would not have not seen and would have arrived at St Jacques without seeing me. He rolled 5 or 6 km with me was wonderful and it made me very happy, I was less sore foot. When he left, he caught up with Nicole who was waiting in Las Herrerias, she too was very surprised to voir.Une very difficult step to O Cebreiro (those who know know). With my tendonitis, I was scared. I have finished the stage, initially, in the long coast to La Faba, I wanted to walk to not aggravate my injury, but it was more painful than running. So I ran. Sunday, June 20, Fonfria - Sarria - Lavandeira If the road was easier than the previous step, my foot pain was stronger. I was glad to find the owner of the pension-hotel-restaurant-Albergue de Sarria, it is very nice and competent in his job. We will spend the night in Sarria. When Nicole came directly recognized and he was glad to see her. When I arrived, he gave me a hug, I changed and I continued about 10 km. On my return, we drank a beer, donated by the owner. Monday, June 21, Lavandeira - O Coto. Still a lot of hills and down hills to Portomarin. After, the coast until O Coto. Nothing to say for this step, except that I am always suffering tendinitis. Tuesday, June 22, O Coto - Arca Before last step before Santiago, if I wanted, I would be arriving in Santiago today, there are only more or less than 56 km to go and I have run this distance. To arrive at St Jacques in the morning, I prefer to stop Arca which is 20 km from Santiago. Wednesday, June 23, Arca - St Jacques de Compostela. For the 4th time, I arrive on the square of the Cathedral of Santiago with always the same emotion that is known as the Pilgrims. Thank you to Nicole that without it I would not do what I'm doing. On the square, there was TV and that I already wrote in message 8. The return from Rome will be in the No. 11 post. Thank you for having the patience to read me, do not forget that I run for organ donation and also that it is Nicole who corrects my mistakes. Friendships, Kisses and see you soon, Michael and Nicole
