The Chinese group bought a vineyard COFC AOC Bordeaux GLN Gide Loyrette Nouel advised giant COFCO Chinese food on the acquisition of Chateau de Viaud . This castle is a leading vineyard located in Lalande de Pomerol. COFCO is listed in Hong Kong and majority owned by the Chinese state is the most Chinese food conglomerate. It represents a turnover exceeding 21 billion dollars. Owner of the famous local brand Great Wall, COFCO is the largest producer of wine in China.
The assignor, Philippe Raoux, merchant of Bordeaux winemaker, has helped shape the present universe of wine.
